DET Learning and Teaching Branch are pleased to announce opportunities for Victorian government schools to engage in FREE* professional learning events with local and international educators.

SOLO Taxonomy Workshops

A full day face-to-face workshop that aims to provide schools with further tools, ideas and practical strategies to help teachers plan and implement the SOLO taxonomy in their classrooms.

Invent to Learn – Sylvia Martinez and Gary Stager

Sylvia Libow Martinez & Gary Stager, authors of Invent to Learn, Making, Tinkering and Engineering in the Classroom will be in Melbourne for a series of hands-on workshops.

Who Should Attend?

This workshop is designed for school teams of Principals, Learning Technologies Coordinators and Specialist technicians from government schools only. It is recommended that 2-3 staff attend from each school, and that one attendee is the Specialist Technician*.
