21CLD and ICT Peer Coaching

Microsoft are offering the following accredited professional learning for Victorian government school teachers.

ICT Peer Coaching

  • 16-17 October – Southbank
  • No cost for Vic government school teachers

ICT Peer Coaching is an internationally recognised Microsoft course that accredits participants with a Microsoft and Peer Ed ICT Peer Coaching certification to support teachers within their school with the integration of ICT into their teaching practice. Through this two day workshop, teachers and leaders will explore the Peer Coaching methodologies and protocols that can be applied across all teaching and learning areas. Participants will spend time exploring technical pedagogy frameworks and equipped with resources to successfully implement a coaching program back at school.

21st Century Learning Design

  • 24-25 October – Southbank
  • No cost for Vic government school teachers

Discover the research based framework ‘21st Century Learning Design’ supporting teachers globally to easily and evaluate their lesson design with strategies that are proven to develop skills such as collaboration, skilled communication, self-regulation and knowledge construction in our students.  Through this 2 x day Face-to-Face workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of 21CLD, apply their new knowledge and work to redesign a lesson or activity to implement back at school.

Trent Ray, Microsoft Learning Consultant Trent Ray has worked as both a Primary and Secondary School teacher, whilst specialising in technology for learning. As a Curriculum Innovation Leader and Technology Ambassador, Trent’s background in Peer Coaching and 21st Century Learning Design has seen him travel the nation to supports schools, leaders and teachers when planning to integrate technology into the classroom.
