A delightful way to teach coding

Linda Liukas is helping to educate problem-solving kids, encouraging them to see computers not as mechanical, boring and complicated but as colorful, expressive machines meant to be tinkered with. In this talk, she invites us to imagine a world where the Ada Lovelaces of tomorrow grow up to be optimistic and brave about technology and use it to create a new world that is wonderful, whimsical and a tiny bit weird.

Linda will be in Melbourne for a free workshop on December 8. She will explore the links between creativity and coding, and show how her fabulous Hello Ruby books can be used in the classroom. There may even be a chance to get your books signed!
Book now for this free event, co hosted by DLTV and the UNESCO Observatory of Arts Education, Melbourne Graduate School of Education. https://dltv.vic.edu.au/event-2720418
